1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website thefifthdate.co ("the Site") and the matchmaking and introduction services offered by The Fifth Date ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for adults aged 21 or older. By applying, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, legally single, and seeking services for yourself — not on behalf of someone else.

3. Membership and applications

  • Membership is by application. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
  • We review applications at our discretion, based on suitability and current roster capacity.
  • Information you provide must be truthful and complete. Providing false information may result in removal from the service.
  • Membership fees and payment terms, if any, are described during your consultation before you join.

4. Our services

We provide personal introduction services. We work to make thoughtful, considered introductions, but we do not and cannot guarantee outcomes — including any particular number of introductions, dates, relationships, or marriages. Human relationships are never guaranteed.

5. Conduct

You agree to treat other members with courtesy and respect, to follow our code of conduct as shared during your consultation, and to report any safety concerns to us immediately. Harassment, dishonesty, or harmful behavior is grounds for immediate removal from the service.

6. Your information

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may take photos or notes you share and use them to assess compatibility. We never list you publicly without your express consent.

7. No guarantees

Matchmaking involves human beings, and we make no promises about the number or timing of introductions, the success of any date, or the outcome of any relationship. Our services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Fifth Date is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services, including damages related to third-party introductions, dates, or conduct of other members. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under law.

9. Website content

The Site's content, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to The Fifth Date and protected by applicable law. Photographs are licensed for our use from their respective creators (see credits) and may not be reused without permission.

10. Third-party services

The Site integrates with third-party services including Calendly (scheduling) and Netlify (hosting and forms). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end membership at any time if these Terms are breached or if we determine that continued participation isn't appropriate. You may end your membership at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
